What happens if you don’t complete an obstacle?
We get asked that question a lot. Some races don’t regulate on participants who don’t complete or skip an obstacle. Then again some do, and we are one of them. If you are unsuccessful or unable to do an obstacle, you’re going to have to do Burpee’s! What’s that you ask?
Burpee verb \ˈbür-pəe\
- A squat thrust that starts and ends in a standing position
- Consists of doing a push up, going into a squat, jumping as high as you can, dropping back into a squat then into a pushup.
The number Burpee’s depends on the difficulty of the obstacle you fail to complete or choose to skip.
If you haven’t done them before, let’s just say you’re in for a SUPER treat!
